What kind of Christmas Tree!?!?

So I had seen this post on Facebook off of a friends post. Such a non-traditional but totally fantastic and artistic approach to doing something different for a "pine" structure if you will...
Here is an example of what we're talking about here...
So of course I had to repost that... What a fabulous idea!!! Well it did not take long for a couple of friends to see the fabulousness of this idea.. One friend in particular said "make me one!!!" So we got our heads together and she came up with a cheap wired vintage bodice form from LTD.  Next we found a source for the bustier which was such a hard decision as there are so many beautiful choices!! She chose one in silver.
Really there are a few ways to make one work, I just took old pine branches from a artificial tree that's no longer being used in our shop. Attach to the bottom of the form... I chose to keep it shorter like a ballerina style as I thought it would be cute. I have added silver ornaments to it, but left plenty of room for her to add her own flare as well. You can change up the color theme every year if you wish! I know I always have more than enough ornaments that I don't use on my tree at home, now you can save some for your bustier dress form! Let me know what you guys think??

Walworth County's voted #1 Florist!

Every year, our newspaper publication the Walworth County Week does a "Best of" in all areas for the county and everyone gets a chance to vote for their favorite businesses. We have been so lucky to always be in the top 3 categories. This year was no exception as we won 1st Place again! This is so important to us as we are thrilled to have our customers vote for us as their #1 Flower Shop in the county. There are so many wonderful choices and fellow florists that do beautiful work, we are very honored to have won the title.

Our goal is to forever provide outstanding service and quality product for our customers and clients. We love what we do!! Thanks for recognizing that!
Thanks Walworth County!!!

Looking forward to sharing with you!

So this is my initial post - my first ever to our blog!  I really "hemmed and hawed" about this for quite some time.  Should I start a blog?  Can I contribute enough to it?  Well I am going to bite the bullet so to speak and give this a whirl.
I love what I do.  We have a family business that is 2nd generation and over 40 years in the industry.  I look forward to sharing all we offer with you and also our experiences in this crazy but creative business!
Welcome Everyone!
